John Stones has been rewarded for his Manchester City rebirth by signing a fresh, long-term deal at the Etihad.
Stones has put pen to paper on a five-year deal worth £250,000 a week, keeping him with the north west club until the age of 32.
Manager Pep Guardiola has rewarded Stones for regaining his place in his starting XI, having seen the defender fall down the pecking order in 2019-20.

As first reported by Sportsmail on Monday night, Stones has accepted the new terms and will continue as first choice next season as City look to defend their Premier League title.
Stones’ career at the club looked to be coming to an end until he regained his place last season and forged an outstanding central defensive partnership with Ruben Dias.
The 27-year-old’s contract was due to run out in June next year but he has agreed a new deal worth £250,000 a week until 2026.
