Kanye West, also known as YE, appears to be on a mission to mend past feuds, sending a direct message to Canadian rapper Drake.
In a post on his X account, where he boasts 33 million followers, YE admitted to letting jealousy affect their relationship, expressing his love for Drake and even requesting that the Toronto star speak at his funeral. This marks his latest attempt to make peace with Drake, following a recent post where he simply commented “cool” on a picture of the rapper performing in Australia.

The pair’s relationship has been a mix of admiration and rivalry over the past two decades, dating back to when YE produced Drake’s breakout hit Find Your Love. While they famously reconciled in 2021 for the Free Larry Hoover concert, tensions have resurfaced over the years.
YE’s recent social media activity has kept him in the headlines for controversial reasons, including inflammatory statements and support for embattled figures. However, his latest outreach to Drake could shift the narrative.
Drake has yet to respond, but given his recent high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar, YE’s gesture might come at an opportune moment for the Canadian superstar.
