Keanu Reeves’ ability to play action movies is known to all, and if there is combat in them he is already someone iconic in movie theaters as he is mostly known for being the ultimate protagonist of the “Matrix” saga, however, in real life new challenges are still attractive for the Canadian.
After lending his voice to bring Batman to life in the animated film “DC League of Super-Pets,” the famous actor has not ruled out dressing up and bringing the “Dark Knight” to life in a live-action movie in the future.
Keanu Reeves’ love for the character of Batman
“I love Batman, as a character. I love him in the comic books, in the films, so to get the opportunity to voice, to play Batman was awesome,” Reeves said at the “Super-Pets” premiere in Los Angeles, California.
However, Reeves was respectful and even admiring of Bruce Wayne‘s last interpreter, Robert Pattison, but he did say he is excited to take on the role if another type of profile is needed for the popular superhero.
“But there’s … Pattinson’s got Batman right now and he’s doing awesome, so maybe down the road,” Reeves said.
Who are the favorites to play Batman?
At 57 years of age, the possibility of Keanu Reeves being the new Batman does not seem so high, as in addition to Pattison, there is the case of Christian Bale, who has said in the past that he would love to play Batman again, with the condition that the film would be directed by Christopher Nolan.

For now, Reeves is happy with his role in the animated film, without hiding his aforementioned admiration for Bruce Wayne.
“I have a small part in this film, a bit of a cameo,” Reeves said. “But even that, just to be a part of a project that [Dwayne] Johnson and Kevin Hart are a part of is awesome, and I got to play Batman.”
