Nigerian content creator Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has spoken about the boundaries she sets when it comes to collaborations in the entertainment industry.
In a recent interview, Kiekie explained that she chooses not to work with creators whose content she considers vulgar or indecent.
She emphasized the importance of maintaining her brand identity, stating that while she respects the unique styles of other creators, she prefers to collaborate with those whose values and content align with her own standards.
I would never collaborate with any skit maker who is too vulgar. I won’t be able to work with them. I don’t have a specific name in mind, but I have seen quite a number of them. If your content is too focused on showing breasts or bum, it’s not that I have a problem with it personally, but it’s about brand alignment.
My inability to collaborate with you doesn’t mean I look down on your work or don’t respect your efforts. I recognize your hard work, but we just don’t align. It could affect how brands view my own work, she explained.
