Nigerian singer and rapper Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad died at the age of 27 but his songs have continued to dominate the social media space.
The act who was formerly signed to Marlian Records left the label in 2022. He owned a record label called Imolenization.
His melodies captivated the hearts of many youngsters as they were relatable. But his death took many by surprise.

In the year 2020, he released a new music video titled “Ponmo” featuring Lil Kesh and Naira Marley. The success of the song can be ascribed to its unusual fusion of Afrobeats and street-hop elements, a musical blend that appeals to a wide audience. Ko Por Ke (KPK)
In 2021, the singer released Ko Por Ke which stands for “KPK,” and means “It is Plenty” or “Who Says It Isn’t Plenty,” featuring Rexxie. The phrase became a catchy street hop/pop anthem.
After the success of KPK, Mohbad went on to release another track titled “Feel good” The 2022 hit talks about his opponents attempting to catch up with him and how he hustled his way to the top.

The track which was released in 2022 and produced by Rexxie got its peak in TurnTable charts top 50 in 2021 and top 100 in 2022. The singer expressed his frustrations while expressing his wish for the calm he needs to pursue his career. One that, regrettably, would be cut short.
