Jelicia Westhoff, the former partner of Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, has publicly criticized him on social media amid rumors linking him to American rapper Cardi B.
Speculation about Okoye and Cardi B’s relationship surfaced after the two were spotted together at Paris Fashion Week, where Okoye was seen helping Cardi B to her seat. The rumors intensified when they were photographed dining with friends at Gio’s restaurant in The St. Regis hotel in Venice, Italy, and later seen together watching a fireworks display with the same group.
On Monday, Westhoff, a Dutch model who shares a son named Emiliano Isaiah with Okoye, took to Instagram to accuse the footballer of being an absentee father. She reposted videos with captions such as, Never force a man to be involved with his children and No respect for a deadbeat.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Westhoff claimed she had previously kept quiet about their personal issues to protect Okoye’s career. Imagine I shut my f**king mouth, lied about what YOU did to me, so you could continue YOUR career and all you do is embarrass US, she wrote, according to screenshots shared online. You make me look like I’m a bitter baby mother when I helped you when no one was there for you… You don’t take care of your one and only son! Because I don’t want to be with you I will never forgive you.
Westhoff had previously accused Okoye of neglecting their son and disrespecting her in December 2024.
As of now, neither Okoye nor Cardi B have responded to the dating rumors.
