The statement immediately triggered mixed reactions, with fans and football enthusiasts debating whether Mikel truly deserves the title over other Nigerian legends.

While some backed Odumodublvck’s claim, others disagreed, citing Rashidi Yekini, Nwankwo Kanu, Jay-Jay Okocha, Stephen Keshi, and Christian Chukwu as more deserving.
