Chaos erupted in the Sabon Iddo area of Abuja Friday night as two immigration officers were gunned down by a man identified as Pastor Darlington, who reportedly mistook them for armed robbers.

The victims—Officers Oyomide Zion and Hakeem Mashood—were on routine patrol when they were shot.
According to Makama Zagazola, a third officer, Uduk James, raised the alarm, prompting swift deployment by the Iddo Police Division.
The wounded officers were rushed to the Nigerian Air Force Base Hospital, Abuja.

Security forces are now in hot pursuit of the shooter, known by the alias Pastor Darlington, who fled the scene immediately after the attack.
Police sources confirmed that a manhunt has been launched to track him down.
