The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has sounded the alarm following an attack on party leader Peter Obi, who was accompanied by party members to officially welcome Olumide Akpata into the ADC.
Dr. Yunusa Tanko, Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, reported that armed individuals pursued the convoy from the ADC Secretariat to the residence of former APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.
According to a statement shared with Objectv Media, Dr. Tanko revealed that the attackers fired shots at the gate and vandalized several vehicles, characterizing the incident as a clear assassination attempt on Mr. Obi and the ADC delegation.
In response, the party has demanded an immediate investigation and increased security for its leaders in the state.
