Popular Nigerian comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, better known as Seyi Law, has made it clear that he will never support Peter Obi, citing personal attacks from the politician’s supporters, popularly known as Obidients.
Speaking during an interview on the Tejubabyface Show, Seyi Law stated that while he’s quick to let go of anger when it concerns him, he draws the line when his family is targeted.
“The moment you cross that boundary from me to my children, mother, and wife there is no forgiveness,” he said.
He alleged that Obi’s supporters verbally attacked his wife and children, and accused Peter Obi of failing to call them to order.
“As long as Peter Obi will not call them to order and he keeps denying that they are doing that, he will never get my support,” he added.
The comedian further said not even a saintly transformation would change his stance:
“Let Peter Obi wear the garment of Jesus Christ today he will never get my support.”
He also criticized what he perceives as a toxic culture of intolerance among some political groups, saying:
“Any organization that does not support free thinking is a cult.”
Seyi Law’s bold declaration has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many applauding his candor while others challenged his views.
