Peter Olayinka, Super Eagles striker, has welcomed his first child with Yetunde Barnabas, his celebrity wife.
The couple announced the arrival of their “bundle of joy” in a joint post on their verified Instagram pages on Wednesday.
Alongside pictures showing the footballer and actress holding the new baby, they revealed that the little child was born on Tuesday.
The lovebirds also disclosed the baby’s name as “Gemma Olayinka.”
“We have seen the glory of God in our lives and we are saying thank you to the Most High for making us a parent to the most beautiful one,” the post read.
“Gemma Olayinka (26/07/22) our bundle of happiness is here.”

The duo got married in March 2021. They were said to have met in 2019 and started dating shortly after the encounter.
Yetunde came into the spotlight for her role as Miss Pepeiye in ‘Papa Ajasco’, a popular Nigerian family television sitcom, created by Wale Adenuga in 1996.
She has continued to feature in several movies.
Before her foray into the movie landscape, Yetunde had an impressive career as a model who won several awards and recognition including the Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja pageant in 2019.
Olayinka, on the other hand, plays for Slavia Prague, a professional football club in the Czech Republic.
He was part of the Super Eagles team that competed in the 2022 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.
