Celebrities and actors turned in luxuriously loud fashions at the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) in Lagos on Saturday night.
The AMVCA is an annual event which recognises outstanding performances in television, film, and entertainment in Africa.
The 10th edition was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos and hosted by IK Osakioduwa.
As usual, attendees pulled all stops to the red carpet dressed in jaw-dropping, elegant, and glamorous outfits for the cameras.
Several celebrities used the event as a chance to experiment and go big. Some ladies rocked various stunning gowns and two pieces — from classic and sophisticated styles to bold and avant-garde designs — while the men opted for stylishly tailored tuxedos, suits, and traditional attires.
Breath of Life was the biggest winner at this year’s award ceremony. The movie clinched six categories including ‘Best Lead Actor’, ‘Best Supporting Actor’, ‘Best Supporting Actress’, Best Director, Best Sound Design, and Best Movie.
From Tacha, Tana Adelana, Kehinde Bankole, Eniola Ajao, Timini Egbuson, Dianne Russet, Angel, RMD and Uche Montana to Bisola Aiyeola and Vee, the red carpet was a true fashion spectacle that served as the grand finale.
