Lagos, which was the first state to record a case of the disease, swiftly moved to renovate its infectious disease centre located in Yaba.
While some states are converting some hospital facilities to isolation centres, others are still waiting to record cases of the virus before doing the needful.
When TheCable visited Kano isolation centre located at Yar Gaya in Dawakin Kudu local government, the facility looked dilapidated and abandoned.
