Nigeria’s Divine Oduduru has qualified for the semi final of the mens 200m race at the ongoing Rio Olympics after finishing in 2nd behind Usain Bolt in the heats.
Oduduru who was running from Lane 8, attacked the curve very fast and maintained his speed down the home stretch, to wade off at least 4 other athletes who had better Personal Bests (PBs) and Season’s Bests (SBs).
Usain Bolt ran a time of 20.28 seconds while Nigeria’s Oduduru ran 20.34 seconds. The Nigerian has now qualified for the semi-finals. You can watch the video of the race below;Great race divine Oduduru! pic.twitter.com/4KNAMKlody
