Rita Dominic, a Nollywood actress, has left friends and fans talking on social media after she shared rare loved-up photos of herself with her lover.
The 45-year-old film star shared photos on her Instagram page on Saturday in commemoration of the Christmas celebration.
In the photos which she captioned “Merry Christmas”, the actress and her lover are seen wearing matching outfits and holding a glass of wine, while he hugs her from behind.
The lover happens to be Fidelis Anosike, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Folio Media Group, a multimedia company that owns Daily Times Nigeria.
Dominic, who has never been married before, has over the years kept her relationship life private.
However, in 2018, she had admitted that she almost got married at some point in her life but was glad it didn’t work out.
Some celebrities and fans on Instagram joined the frenzy and marveled at the rarity of seeing Rita with a man she is believed to be in a relationship with.
Celebrities like Chioma Akpotha, Iyabo Ojo, Uche Ogbodo, Laura Ikeji amongst others registered their excitement and sent their goodwill.
“Me I am here for this. Make I park my bicycle first,” Akpotha wrote.
Ojo, a fellow actress, also wrote: “Congratulations darling and Merry Christmas.”
“So beautiful. Merry Christmas Riri,” Uche Ogbodo wrote while Laura iIkeji said, “So perfect, Merry Christmas to you both.”
“Yaaaay. Congratulations sis. Merry Christmas sis. Love you,” Nikki Laoye wrote.
A fan identified as Deborah Agbalama said “Merry Christmas. She has never gone public with her relationship, so this has got to be the real deal…super happy for you.”
“Aunty Rita has Found Love. This is the best Christmas ever,” another fan wrote.

The movie star started performing as a child, appearing in school plays and children’s television shows in Imo state.
Since then, she has starred in over 100 Nollywood movies, winning the City People Awards as the ‘Most Outstanding Actress’ in 2004.
