Ruth Kadiri Ezerika, the Nollywood actress, and her husband have welcomed a baby girl together.
The film star announced the arrival of their second child via her Instagram page on Thursday.
In the post, she revealed that she had yearned for a second child. She also disclosed the baby’s name and date of birth.
She said the baby’s birth is a “complete reminder that God answers prayers”.
“Dear Emerald Chizaram Ezerika born 20th of July 2022. I want you to know that I prayed for you,” she wrote.
“Waited for you. Loved you before I met you. And you have made our lives a complete reminder that God answers prayers.”

Kadiri had kept her relationship private until December 2017, when she announced on social media that she was engaged.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2019 and the union has been blessed with a beautiful daughter.
In January 2020, the movie star revealed how the fear of combining her career and motherhood made her fall into depression during pregnancy.
She also said she was scared she will ruin her career and won’t be a good mother.
