L.A.X, the Nigerian singer, is threatening to sue a woman who accused him of infecting her with herpes.
Herpes is a contagious viral infection causing sores typically around the mouth or genitals. The virus has manageable symptoms but no cure.
L.A.X’s girlfriend shared a loved-up picture with the singer on Monday via X, wishing everyone a happy new year.
Commenting on the post, a user with the handle @edna_reese called L.A.X a “wicked herpes giver.

The singer angrily responded by saying he does not take such allegation lightly and vowed to sue to her.

Born Damilola Rasak Afolabi, L.A.X released his first major single ‘Jaye’ in 2012.
In 2013, he signed a deal with Starboy Entertainment shortly after releasing ‘Caro’, a hit track featuring Wizkid.
Caro’ earned L.A.X the “Diaspora Artiste of The Year” at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and he was nominated in the ‘Hottest Single of The Year’ category at the same awards.
He has also released other songs, including ‘Ole’, ‘Go Low’, and ‘Ginger.
