Sometimes I don’t feel happy to see Kess on BBNaija, says wife

Angel, wife of Kess, the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season seven housemate, says sometimes she doesn’t feel “excited” watching him on the show.

Angel spoke in a video via Kess’ Instagram page on Tuesday.

She revealed that she is optimistic her husband will win the show, adding that the prize will help him assist his family.

“Hi everybody. I am Angel, Kess’ wife. I no go lie if I dey watch him for television e dey always give me joy. Okay, sometimes no,” she said in pidgin English.

“I know say na my husband go win this show, no be joke. Yes, the mulla will definitely help his mum build a house in Delta and family as well and for our future too. I love my husband.”

Speaking about her miscarriage, she described it as a “traumatic” experience.

She also said the child would have been the “greatest gift” to her husband.

Angel further described her decision to allow her husband to participate in the show as “courageous”.

She called on the public to vote for Kess till the show finale.

“Some people want to know wetin happen to our pikin and I would like to address that. It isn’t very easy to talk about it, but it’s very traumatic,” she added.

“Not a very easy thing to go through in life but no matter what, life goes on. So we have to live in the best way we know how and trust God that there is a reason for everything. It wasn’t meant to be.

“It could have been the greatest gift I could give my husband. Who knows. It was just not meant to be right now. I tell you, some days are easy some are not.

“So I made a courageous decision to allow my husband join the show even though I wasn’t aware that besides the game and tasks, there are other factors that I don’t like at all as his wife.

“But he’s there playing a game, showing some content, and doing what he can to stand out. I say and say in my head, ‘its just a game’. We’d definitely talk when he gets out, and I pray to God that he will guide us both and protect our marriage so it stands strong, no matter what.

“So Kess nation abeg make you na help me support my husband and vote for him till the vote finish, please.”
