The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has confirmed a multi-vehicle accident involving two articulated trucks and a private car at TREM, inward Gbagada, along the expressway.
In a traffic update posted on its official X account on Monday, the agency reported that emergency responders have been deployed to the scene and recovery operations are currently ongoing.
According to LASTMA, both trucks were laden with cargo when the collision occurred. The agency stated that a tow truck has been mobilized to the location to assist with the removal of the affected vehicles.
LASTMA further disclosed that its Rescue and Recovery Unit is on site to expedite the clearing of the vehicles and manage the flow of traffic around the accident scene. Motorists have been advised to exercise caution and anticipate delays as recovery efforts continue.
