The midfielder joins the Toffees for an initial £22m fee that could rise to £24m.

He has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at Goodison Park and taken the No.2 shirt.

“Everyone at Manchester United would like to wish Morgan all the best for the future,” a statement on the Red Devils’ website read.

Arsenal youngster Glen Kamara has returned from a loan spell at Colchester, the League Two club have confirmed.

The 20-year-old joined the Us on a six-month deal in the summer but managed just six appearances.

He last turned out for the club in November’s 3-0 home defeat against Leyton Orient.

Kamara is out of contract at the end of the season.

Swansea boss Paul Clement insists Chelsea target Fernando Llorente is not for sale.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is eyeing Llorente as cover for Diego Costa but Clement said: “He has experience of playing football at the highest level.

“He has been linked with a move but there’s been no contact.

“It’s similar with Gylfi Sigurdsson. We are in a situation where we need to win games and to do that you need your best players here.”
