In a recent statement, he cautioned the anti-graft agency against tampering with his phone or releasing a photo taken during his time at their office.

VeryDarkMan, who made the revelation on social media, expressed frustration over not being able to access his iCloud account after his phone was confiscated.

He disclosed that he had bought a new phone in anticipation that the EFCC would not return his original device.

EFCC, now that we want to start a friendship, I want to put this out there… you people took a photo of me. If you ever release that photo and I see ‘money laundering’ on it, that is where we will have a problem, he warned. He went on to state that any attempt to link him to money laundering would result in serious legal consequences.

If you release my picture on your page and I see ‘money laundering’ on it, first of all, you people will prove money laundering to Nigerians. It might actually be the first case we will do in the open, all the details will be put online, he added.

VeryDarkMan also expressed his dissatisfaction with GTBank, accusing the financial institution of misconduct and vowing to expose their actions.

He claimed to have evidence of the events that transpired at the bank, which he said is currently stored on the phone held by the EFCC.

I have the evidence. The only thing that will save you (GTBank) is that maybe the EFCC deletes the video, because the video is there when everything happened, VeryDarkMan said.

In closing, he warned the EFCC not to take any actions that could damage its credibility or lead to legal challenges. He stated that if the EFCC proceeds with releasing the photo or making false claims, it would severely damage their reputation and integrity.

To my future friends, if that photo comes out, we will go to court. The only difference is that you are big, you are the government, but I will stress you people. And it is going to dent your image and your integrity, he added.
