Controversial activist Verydarkman (VDM) has fired back at Abdul Danbature, self-proclaimed president of the Northern Youths, who gave him a 48-hour ultimatum to apologize for criticizing the Sultan of Sokoto.
The drama began after VDM reacted to a video where the Sultan allegedly described social media as a “terrorist organization.” Danbature, in response, demanded an apology from the activist, calling his comments disrespectful.
However, in a now-viral video, VDM did not hold back, taking shots at Danbature and others who took offense. He accused them of misunderstanding the context of his message and mocked the youth leader’s authority.
“First of all, I want to apologize to the Arewa youths that are offended by the video, and to this president that is offended… I’m apologizing that a lot of you are illiterates that don’t understand anything. Especially you, Mr. President. You get mind give me ultimatum? I be president of Nigerian youths, your own na just North. Fear God na.”
