Cardi B, the US rapper, and Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye have sparked rumours of a possible relationship after they were spotted having dinner together in Venice, Italy.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the pair were seen dining with a group of friends at Gio’s restaurant inside The St. Regis hotel.
Cardi B, clad in a turquoise dress, sat beside Okoye, who wore a brown shirt, as they chatted with each other and other guests at the table. No public display of affection was observed between them.
The duo were also reportedly seen watching a fireworks display from the hotel alongside the same group, believed to be friends of the pair.
The dinner outing comes just weeks after the two were previously seen seated together at Paris Fashion Week in France, where Okoye was spotted helping the rapper to her seat.
The moment triggered widespread speculation on social media, with many users suggesting the footballer could be Cardi B’s new love interest.
Neither Cardi B nor Okoye has publicly addressed or dismissed the rumours.
Okoye is currently unmarried but shares a son, Emiliano Isaiah, with Dutch model Jelicia Westhoff.
Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, married rapper Offset in 2017. Their relationship was highly publicised and marked by multiple breakups and reconciliations before they eventually separated.
They share three children: daughter Kulture, son Wave, and a third child born shortly after Cardi B filed for divorce in 2024.
In 2025, the rapper confirmed her relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs, but the pair reportedly split in February 2026.
