Jude Dawam, a Nigerian on-air-personality (OAP) turned singer, has put out a new song titled ‘I’m a cow’ — in response to a track by AY Poyoo, a Ghanaian rapper.

Ever since he got his breakthrough on the internet with ‘I’m a goat,’ his comic song, Poyoo has established himself as a household name in his home country while gradually amassing a huge fanbase across Africa.

But on Saturday, he met his match in Dawam, a radio presenter, who released his own version of the comic song, which appeared to be a dig at the rising rapper and internet sensation.

In the less than three-minute video clip, Dawam, who is also known as Alhaji Tanko, can be heard bragging about being a cow, while also stating why he can never be a goat.

“I’m a cow, I’m a cow, moo! I will never ever be a goat. A cow is big and a goat is small. A cow get tozo; goat no get. A cow is white and a goat is black. Cow get meat, goat no get anything!,” he can be heard singing.

“If I sell two cow, I go buy Mercedi Benz. Goat no go fit buy bicyle; goat no go fit buy phone. If you sell one cow, you make big money. A cow can trek from Maiduguri to Enugu. A goat go die for road!.”

A few weeks ago, Poyoo, whose real name is Immanuel Yeboah, had shared a snippet in which he is seen rehearsing the hit song inside a studio.

The short clip instantly became sensational across social media platforms while some users also shared it on their different WhatsApp statuses.
