Judy Austin, the second wife of Yul Edochie, has comforted her husband over the death of Kambilichukwu, his eldest son with May, his first partner.
In late March, Kambilichukwu was said to have developed a seizure while playing football with his colleagues in school.
The 16-year-old boy was confirmed dead after being rushed to Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos.
Weeks after the passing of Kambilichukwu, Yul took to Instagram to mourn his son.
The actor recalled his last moment with Kambilichukwu, adding that “ I can’t question God”.
He also described his son as a “cheerful and loving soul.”
In a recent Instagram post, Judy encouraged her husband to “remain strong”, while calling him a “great man”.
She also prayed for the actor that “God will lead you always”.
“Ezedike. You’re a Great man. And Great men face great challenges,” she wrote.
“Your life is in God’s hands. Trust that he will lead you always. Remain strong.”
Judy also reposted a message shared by Yul, wherein he appreciated everyone for their condolence gestures “for my son and for my family.”
“I thank you all for the condolence messages, condolence visits, calls, care, and prayers you all offered for my son and for my family. The love and concern have been overwhelming,” the post reads.
“I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you from the depths of my heart.
“May God bless you all abundantly.”
Judy became popular in April 2022, after Yul announced the arrival of a child with her. The actor also unveiled her as his second wife.
