Love Ogah, daughter of renowned Nigerian clergyman Bishop David Oyedepo, has shared a chilling account of how her father miraculously escaped an assassination attempt during her secondary school days.
In a recent sermon, Love recounted that hired assassins stormed their home with the clear intention of taking her father’s life. Despite thoroughly searching the house for hours, they couldn’t find him.
“At one point, we were hiding between the door,” she said. “It steamed into my face, my gum tore, and my lip was bleeding.”
But the most shocking part of the story came after the assailants left.
Love revealed that her father emerged from his room unscathed, claiming he witnessed everything firsthand. “He said he saw them, but they couldn’t see him,” she explained. “All of us were just looking it felt like a film trick.”
