During a livestream with TikToker Jarvis at her Children’s Day carnival in Asaba, Delta State, Daniels shared how her outlook on marriage has changed, even as her desire to expand her family remains strong.
“For some reason, I’ve taken my mind off marriage. I haven’t had a girl yet, and I must have a girl,” she revealed.
Daniels emphasized that raising a daughter carries a special emotional significance for mothers.
“I feel like you truly understand motherhood when you have a girl child. Raising boys is easier because you can guide them to see their father as a role model. But for a girl, you have to be that role model yourself. Before I had my first son, I said I would never want a girl. But after my first and second sons, I realized how much I wanted one. Female children remember things; they hold onto memories,” she explained.
Reflecting further on family dynamics, Daniels noted that women often remain emotionally connected to their homes.
“Men grow up, get married, and focus on building their own families. But for women, there is always that emotional tie to home,” she added.
Daniels and Nwoko married in 2019, a union that sparked widespread debate due to their 40-year age difference—she was 19 at the time. The couple shares two sons.
Their marriage became publicly strained in 2025 after Nwoko accused Daniels of substance abuse and claimed she needed rehabilitation. Daniels denied these allegations, instead accusing Nwoko of manipulation, psychological control, and abuse.
Following their separation, Daniels moved into her own home and maintains that she is now single.
