Omah Lay Postpones World Tour Due to Knee Injury

Nigerian singer Omah Lay has postponed the remaining dates of his ‘Clarity of Mind’ world tour, originally scheduled from October 30 onwards, due to a knee ligament injury.

The tour, named after his second studio album, kicked off on September 25 in Edmonton, Canada, and was set to visit cities including Toronto, Auckland, Brisbane, Muscat, Istanbul, Zurich, Brussels, Berlin, Milan, London, and conclude in Warsaw, Poland on November 30.

In a heartfelt message shared on X, Omah Lay expressed his disappointment, saying, “Spirits, I’m heartbroken to share that due to a knee ligament injury, all CLARITY OF MIND TOUR dates from October 30th onwards are postponed as I focus on recovery over the next 4–6 weeks.” He assured fans that updates on rescheduled dates and ticket information will be provided soon, and thanked them for their support: “Thank you for your love. Boy alone.”

The postponement confirms reports that surfaced days ago that Omah Lay was rushed to hospital after sustaining a leg injury while performing an acrobatic stunt during rehearsals in Los Angeles, California.

Born Stanley Omah Didia, the singer began his career at 15, first working behind the scenes as a producer before breaking through in 2020 with the viral hits ‘You’ and ‘Bad Influence’.

He earned a nomination at the 2026 Grammys in the ‘Best African Music Performance’ category for ‘With You,’ his collaboration with Davido. They, however, lost out to South Africa’s Tyla.
