Tottenham have kept up the pressure on Premier League title rivals Leicester City after securing a stunning 3-0 win over Manchester United at White Hart Lane.
England international midfielder Dele Alli scored the game’s opener, bursting into the box to convert a cross from Christian Eriksen in the 70th minute, before defender Toby Alderweireld added a second with a header from a set-piece shortly after.
Erik Lamela wrapped up the points with a low, cool finish just inside the box.
The result sees Spurs consolidate their second-placed position and trail Leicester, who won 2-0 at Sunderland earlier in the day, by seven points.
