Unai Emery is no longer the coach of Sevilla, as the Europa League champions confirmed the news that Jorge Sampaoli will indeed take over as the club’s new coach.

Emery had mentioned that he wished to terminate his contract at Sevilla, after he led the Andalusian side to a third consecutive Europa League success.
Jorge Sampaoli is yet to manage a European side, and the 56-year-old left the role as Chile coach at the start of 2016.
Taking over at Sevilla will be Sampaoli’s first campaign at club level since 2012.
