Mourinho tells Pogba he won’t captain Manchester United again

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has told the players that Paul Pogba will never captain the club again according to media reports in England.

The pair are known to have a difficult relationship and this latest development follows a lean performance from the Frenchman in the 1-1 draw with Wolves and his comments afterwards where he appeared to criticise Mourinho’s tactics.

“Whenever we play at home we must attack, attack, attack,” said Pogba.

“We are at Old Trafford, I think that the opposition are worried when they come to Manchester United and they are attacking all the time. That was our mistake.

According to reports, Mourinho feels that Pogba hasn’t acted as a captain should and put the club first.

Mourinho has decided to leave Pogba out of the side to play Derby County in the Carabao Cup.
