Cristiano Ronaldo’s response to positive coronavirus test: PCR is bullsh*t

After returning another positive PCR test, Cristiano Ronaldo is officially ruled out of Juventus’ Champions League group game against Barcelona on Wednesday evening and he is not at all happy about it.

The Portuguese international’s absence will be a big loss to Juventus, but no one will be more frustrated than the player himself. This is a player who always wants to play and especially so when it comes to Europe’s premier club competition.

After the results of his COVID-19 test became public knowledge, Ronaldo took to Instagram to share his feelings. In his first message, he reassured his fans, stating “I feel good and healthy. Forza Juve.”

Later, however, the 35-year-old forward decided to let off steam and show his discontentment at having to miss the chance to face Barcelona and Messi once again. Ronaldo let his feelings be known in all capitals: “PCR IS BULLSH*T.”

It was during the last international break, on October 13, that Ronaldo first tested positive for COVID-19. He was immediately isolated, following all necessary protocols, and he had hoped to shake off the virus within ten days in order to make the Barcelona game; however, it wasn’t to be.
