Award-winning megastar Davido has finally unveiled his much-anticipated fifth studio album, ‘5ive’, released today, April 18, 2025.
Packed with 17 tracks, ‘5ive’ boasts an impressive lineup of Afrobeats royalty and global music powerhouses, showcasing Davido’s undeniable reach as a global hitmaker.
Nigerian stars like Omah Lay, Victony, Odumodublvck, and Chike lend their voices to the album, with Chike and Odumodublvck appearing on the standout single ‘Fund’.
The international collabs are just as stacked:
- YG Marley joins Davido on ‘Awuke’, the album’s first single
- Chris Brown, a longtime collaborator, is back in the mix
- Shensea and 450 represent the Caribbean
- Victoria Monét (3-time Grammy winner) and Becky G bring the R&B and Latin vibes

In a Clue Radio interview, Davido revealed he played a role in the production process, rediscovering his early love for creating beats. On a Twitch stream with Cruel Santino, he explained the inspiration behind the album title ‘5ive’ a nod to his fifth project and a symbol of growth, grace, and greatness.
Preceding the album were three singles, including the Amapiano jam ‘Be There Still’ which had fans buzzing.
