The award-winning singer recently surpassed 11 million monthly listeners on the streaming platform for the first time in his career, a feat that coincides with the release of his fifth studio album, 5ive.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Davido reflected on his journey, noting that unlike many of his peers who benefitted from industry connections and musical godfathers, he built his success from the ground up.
