Nigerian superstar Davido has postponed the release of his highly anticipated fifth album, 5IVE, moving it from March 15 to April 18, 2025.

Though he hasn’t given a reason for the delay, fans remain eager for the project, especially after his Grammy nomination for Best African Song Performance on Chris Brown’s Sensational.

Davido has already set the tone for 5IVE with two singles—Awuke featuring YG Marley and Funds featuring Chike and OdumoduBlvck. He also hinted at collaborations with Omah Lay and Adekunle Gold.

In a social media post, Davido described the album as a deeply personal project, reflecting his journey, truth, and growth.

With five nominations at the 17th Headies, including Artist of the Year, Davido is gearing up for another big year. Fans now have to wait an extra month, but if 5IVE follows in the footsteps of Timeless, it will be well worth it.
