Ehi Ogbebor: Those who claim I denied MC Oluomo should provide proof

Ehi Ogbebor, an interior designer, has asked those accusing her of denying her relationship with Musiliu ‘MC Oluomo’ Akinsanya, Lagos chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), to come out with proof.

The controversy began a few days ago after Destiny Etiko, Nigerian actress, shared a picture of her newly-acquired Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Jeep worth millions of naira on social media.

Shortly after, rumours began to spread that the actress was being sponsored by Tein Jack-Rich, a billionaire businessman, who she was alleged to be having an affair with — a report Etiko vehemently dismissed in a video on Sunday.

Commenting on the now-viral video, some of the social media users, who did not believe the actress, claimed that was how Ehi Ogbebor also denied her relationship with Mc Oluomo.

Ogbebor, who got wind of some of the comments, took to her Instagram story on Monday to react to the allegations.

While reaffirming her relationship status, she asked her accusers to provide evidence to back their claims that she ever denied being in a relationship with the NURTW chairman.

“Been seeing tags of some idiots saying ‘Ehi denied too…denied what precisely? I have never denied been with who am with…as a matter of fact I posted a pic long ago and said “I go go Oshodi for your case”. Can you fools show me a video or written note of me denying the man am with…as a matter of fact I owned it totally…are y’all mad ni? Deny for who what?” she wrote.

The decorator had attracted social media attention in January after she made her relationship with Oluomo public.

She also refuted the claims that she was being bankrolled by the chairman.

“I’m beating my chest to say it. No man spent one dime on my house. If you did and you’re a man and you don’t speak up, God will punish you. I’m betting a $100,000. Come out if you claim to have bankrolled me,” she had said.

“Or you spent one Naira in my business or building my house. I built my house myself. I’m on the road at times, four days a week. I do it for myself and my kids. Stop ruing the minds of these little girls.”
