Elon Musk and Twitter’s legal team contradict each other on ‘stalled deal’

Elon Musk recently stated that the Twitter deal was on hold, he revealed that he encountered several issues with how many bots and fake accounts the platform has.

At the same time, former President Donald Trump released a statement through his Truth Social platform in which he says that Musk will probably back down from the deal.

If this happens, there’s a $1 billion sanction that Elon Musk will have to pay. Judging on the level of wealth Musk has, that is a short price to pay for dropping out of a deal that could potentially become a monumental headache for Elon. Currently, he is involved in four companies she founded that deal with the advancement and improvement of human civilization.

With Space X, Musk is trying to create cutting edge rockets that can someday take humans to Mars. Tesla deals with the creation of self-driving electric cars that can potentially save planet earth from deadly carbon emissions. However, this car company is also actively dealing with solving the problem of artificial intelligence in the real world.

Neuralink deals with creating a better way to deal with many cognitive diseases through chips implanted in our brains and will be able to control our nervous system. Last but not least, The Boring Company deals with underground tunnels that will someday solve the traffic problem in the world. But Musk seemed determined to solve another issue from a company he didn’t create.

Twitter’s legal team confirms the deal is still on.

Protecting freedom of speech on the biggest social media platform where ideas are born is essential for Elon Musk. But he has found several obstacles that could easily discourage him from completing the $44 billion purchase. Twitter’s top layyer and head of policy Vijaya Gadde just issued a warning to Elon.

During a meeting with staff members, she told everybody there is “no such thing as a deal being on hold”. Musk responded as he does best, through a tweet where he posted a meme. Either Twitter and elon start getting along or this might turn into a nasty legal battle that will last for months.
