The Junior D’Tigers have now been granted visas to South Africa to represent Nigeria at the tournament, Afrosport reports.

According to the head of delegation for the Nigeria U18 basketball team, Ugo Udueze, the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has stepped up its efforts to transport the team Pretoria.

It is important to recall that the Junior D’Tigers were initially denied visas by the South African Consulate at Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Monday.

However, with the issues resolved, the NBBF is running against time to get the team in South Africa early enough for their opening game against Egypt on Wednesday.
