Genevieve Nnaji was born on May 3rd 1979 in the city of Mbiase, Imo State, Nigeria.
She attended Methodist Girls College, Yaba. She began her acting career at the age of 8, when she featured in the popular 80s Nigerian soap opera, Ripples. Some of her movies are Wind of Glory, Beautiful Soul, Letters to a Stranger, Mirror Boy, Tango With Me, Bursting Out, and Ije: The Journey.
Her excellent acting and immense contribution to the growth of Nollywood is beyond measure.
