Nigerian Afrobeats star Kcee has taken fans down memory lane, reflecting on his once-buzzed-about relationship with Nollywood actress Ebube Nwagbo, admitting they came close to saying “I do.”
The ‘Limpopo’ crooner opened up during an appearance on the Tea With Tay podcast, revealing that before the social media era, their relationship was one of the hottest in the entertainment scene.
“Our relationship was everywhere Ebube Nwagbo. We were always on the front covers of newspapers… We were close to getting married. Whatever that happened, happened,” Kcee said.
He admitted to having a thing for actresses at the time, stating, “I loved actresses back then. Who wouldn’t?” While he refrained from name-dropping others, he confirmed long-standing rumours about his romance with Ebube.
Now happily married to Ijeoma Okonkwo since 2010 with two children, Kcee says those days are behind him. Meanwhile, Ebube Nwagbo remains single, continuing to charm fans on and off screen.
The confession has since sparked nostalgia among fans, with many recalling the duo’s iconic red carpet moments and front-page appearances.
