In a recent episode of the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, Kim Kardashian got real about her current state of mind and her relationship with Kanye West. The SKIMS founder didn’t hold back, sharing that she’s in a “very good place” and surrounded by people who are “really solid” in her life.
Reflecting on her experiences, Kardashian expressed: “Something I learned is that you cannot help people that don’t want the help.
You can’t force your beliefs and project that on someone that thinks something totally different.” Although she didn’t mention West by name, she touched on conflicting viewpoints she has encountered in the past.
Acknowledging the importance of differing perspectives, Kardashian emphasized: “It’s okay to have those different views. It’s why the world goes round. But if you don’t align in the same values and morals and things at your core, then it’s okay to realize that this life is so short, and you should go and find the people that do align with what you really believe in”, according to People.com

As a mother, Kardashian also shared the lessons she intends to teach her kids about friendships and relationships. “You can’t really force things upon other people. You can’t expect them to be where you’re at, at your level,” she said. Recognizing that differences can sometimes coexist harmoniously, she acknowledged that there are instances when they can’t.
The relationship was not a failure
Dispelling the notion that a failed relationship equals failure, Kardashian offered her perspective: “Sometimes I feel like people think that if a relationship doesn’t work out, that it’s a failure, but I don’t really look at it like that. 15 years together, 10 years. That’s not a failure. That is so beautiful.”

Kardashian and West‘s journey began in 2012, leading to marriage in 2014. They filed for divorce in 2021 after welcoming four children into the world. Their divorce was finalized in November, with agreements reached on child custody and property, as stated in the divorce documents obtained by People.
Through her openness and growth, Kim Kardashian reminds us that finding our own peace and surrounding ourselves with like-minded individuals are essential elements of personal happiness.
