Popular Nigerian skitmaker and singer, Maraji, has waded into the high-profile marital controversy surrounding Senator Ned Nwoko and actress Regina Daniels, using humour to comment on the age difference at the center of the public drama.
The senator and his wife have been subjects of intense speculation and commentary online following various comments Nwoko has allegedly made about Regina Daniels amidst their publicized marital issues.
In a new video released by Maraji, she playfully mocked the politician in a comic tone. Targeting the widely discussed age gap, Maraji suggested that Nwoko should have exercised more restraint.
We believe you, grandpa. Maybe next time when you see small pikin you go leave am,” she joked, using the pidgin phrase “small pikin” (small child).
Maraji continued her sarcastic commentary, adding that she couldn’t understand what Nwoko expected, given that Regina is obviously much younger. She sarcastically advised him to “go for someone mature” next time and urged him to “stop going around giving ‘TED talks’” about his marriage to the young actress.
