Mo Bimpe Warns of Legal Action Against X User Over Divorce and Paternity Fraud Allegations

Nollywood actress Adebimpe ‘Mo Bimpe’ Oyebade has firmly denied social media allegations that her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, filed for divorce after a DNA test allegedly revealed he is not the biological father of their triplets.

The rumors emerged from a now-deleted post by X user @iam_Mardiyyah, who claimed that Adedimeji sought a divorce after a hospital in Ilorin reportedly rejected his blood donation for one of the children due to a blood type mismatch. According to the post, this incident allegedly led to a paternity test, which purportedly showed that Adedimeji was not the children’s biological father.

Popular Nigerian actor Lateef Adedimeji has filed for divorce from his wife after the Ilorin General Hospital rejected his blood donation for one of the triplets. The doctor claimed their blood types do not match, prompting a paternity test, which revealed that Lateef is not the biological father of the kids, the post read.

Responding via her Instagram story, Mo Bimpe dismissed the allegations as baseless fabrications and warned those spreading such falsehoods to stop immediately. She also threatened legal action against those dragging her children into these false narratives.

The actress criticized the use of fake or AI-generated images accompanying the claims. “I don’t want to hear ‘justice for whatever your stupid name is’ by the time I am ready for you. You silly trolls have constantly trolled me on these platforms for years and I’ve been quiet, but what I won’t tolerate is you bringing your stupidity to my children. Be warned! I won’t hesitate to take the right actions if need be,” she wrote.

Mo Bimpe had previously addressed similar viral rumors in May, including AI-generated photos falsely claiming to show her triplets. She and Lateef Adedimeji, who wed in December 2021, have openly discussed their experiences with public scrutiny and criticism regarding their journey to parenthood. Last year, Adedimeji revealed that some online critics mocked his wife over childbirth.
