Nigerian singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, popularly known as Mr Real, has sparked controversy with his recent comments about men who choose not to have children.
Speaking on his Instagram page, Mr Real said he can understand women who decide to be child-free, but went on to claim that men who make the same choice are likely homosexual.
“It is understandable if a woman says she doesn’t want to have kids in this life — very understandable. But you, as a man, saying you don’t want kids? Bro, you be agege,” he wrote.
Mr Real’s remarks quickly drew mixed reactions. While some found humor in his opinion, many criticized him for being biased and perpetuating stereotypes. Critics pointed out that a person’s decision to remain child-free has no bearing on their sexuality.
