Nigerian music star Davido has shared a deeply emotional revelation about his twin son, saying he sees the spirit of his late son, Ifeanyi, in him.
During a heartfelt interview on The Breakfast Club, the father of five opened up about the painful loss he and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, endured nearly three years ago when their first son Ifeanyi tragically drowned in a swimming pool.
Now a father to twins — a boy and a girl, Davido spoke on how his twin son not only looks exactly like Ifeanyi but behaves just like him.
“We’ve got twins now, a boy and a girl, and the boy looks exactly like my son who passed. They act the same. Everything he used to do, he does. My wife and I always say our late son came back,” Davido shared.
He also praised both his father and Chioma’s family for helping them through the dark period, revealing how his father paused all business engagements to be by his side.
“My dad stopped everything he was doing just to support me. Same thing with my wife’s family,” he said, visibly emotional.
