Olu Jacobs, ace Nigerian actor, has won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2021 Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF).
Joke Silva, his actress wife, took to Instagram to share photos from their receipt of the award globe.
AFRIFF, an annual showcase of the world of filmmaking, took place from November 7 to 13.
The annual event witnesses the participation of local and international actors, directors, film critics, buyers, distributors, visual artists, film students, and equipment manufacturers.
Jacobs has been in the news on several occasions over death rumours.
In 2020, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) had attributed the claims to “mischief-makers”.
