Some Nigerians on X, formerly Twitter, have reacted to a recent claim made by Kate ‘Ka3na‘ Jones, the 2020 Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) housemate.
Ka3na, in an Instagram post, claimed she made $900 million while asleep.
$900,000,000 in Nigerian currency is an estimated N1.3 trillion.
The reality star shared a screenshot of a message from a man confirming what appeared to be a successful transaction” between both parties.
The screenshot also implied that the deal involves selling properties in London, United Kingdom.
Although the reality star did not provide enough evidence to back her claims, Ka3na boasted that she would “retire as a young billionaire.
Some Nigerians, however, took to X to express their divergent opinions about Ka3na’s claim.
A segment of users wondered if she lacks “respect for numbers” while others taunted the reality star, arguing that she made the money in her dreams.
When Ka3na brags ‘l made $900m while asleep’, what she meant was that she made the amount in her dreams, a user wrote.
Another user wrote: We don’t respect numbers and it is a huge problem. That figure is the equivalent of 5 
banks even at their peak.
Another user added: What kind of lie is this, How much does First Bank make after-tax??? The first bank’s after-tax profit is actually 362 billion in naira which is barely 400 million dollars, well played.
