The action-fuelled ‘Expendables’ movie series is set to return for a fourth film with blockbuster stars Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham to headline once again.
The franchise details various missions carried out by a group of mercenaries and pays homage to the blockbuster action films of the 1980s and 1990s.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture, who appeared in the first three films alongside Stallone and Statham, will also return for the new movie. Also reportedly joining the cast are 50 Cent, Megan Fox and Tony Jaa.
To direct this star-studded cast will be Scott Waugh, whose credentials include Need for Speed (2014) and 6 Below: Miracle on the Mountain (2017).
The list of classic action movie stars that have featured in the film series include: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford.
