Nollywood star Teniola Aladese has opened up about her dating life, revealing that she is not interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with a fellow actor.
During an appearance on the I Said What I Said’ podcast, Aladese shared that her direct messages are frequently filled with interested admirers. Men have audacity. If I open my DMs for you, you will see a lot, she remarked.
Describing the dating scene in Lagos as overwhelming and chaotic, Aladese acknowledged that her own experiences haven’t all been negative. She explained, I will say I have never had a terrible date. It’s just that after the first date, I already know that you will never see me again.
The actress was candid about her preferences regarding relationships within the film industry. I don’t want to date an actor, she stated. I wouldn’t mind the upper echelons like producers, directors, but actors are a no for me.
Teniola Aladese began her career as a movie production manager before transitioning to full-time acting. She rose to prominence through her role in the Africa Magic drama series Jemeji and was honored with the Trailblazer Award at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
