Dakolo emphasized that a happy marriage is a blessing, not a measure of superiority.
Marriage no easy o. If your own dey work, thank God and enjoy am. No mock people wey dey struggle with am. Love and light, he wrote, highlighting that every relationship has its own unique journey and private battles unknown to outsiders.
Timi Dakolo, who married Busola Dakolo in 2012, is a father of three.
His advice comes amid heightened public conversations about divorce, following the high-profile separation of Frank Edoho and Sandra Edoho. The controversy began when Frank, a popular TV host, declared he would never commit to one woman again after his marriage to Sandra ended in December 2022. Rumors also circulated that Sandra had been unfaithful with a Nigerian singer.
Sandra responded by accusing Frank of multiple affairs during their marriage, even mentioning the names of women he was allegedly involved with.
Frank was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang, with whom he shares three children. That marriage ended in 2010 after seven years. In 2013, Frank married Sandra, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2014, followed by a second child in 2016.
